Today is a new day...

Mom had another episode this morning. She only dropped to 60, but it scared her, and me. Had to fight to get the Great Dane to move from in front of the bedroom door! (Big lard!)

Today is the beginning of spring break for the kids, and I think I would like to make things a bit interesting for them. Maybe take a little trip or two this week, just around town. They have been asking to go to the library, so maybe that's an option.

I need to do laundry today and get that hung out, and make some bread. Amelia made bread yesterday and it may be about an inch and a half high! LOL! I think I found out what we are doing wrong, so I am going to try a new method and pray REAL hard! Hahahaha!

Hubby keeps making fun and saying little jabs like...."looks like my maid quit" (cause the kitchen floor needs mopped) and "Yea, right. Bet you won't." (When I said I was going to flea medicine the dogs today.) Gets a little hurtful at times, but I know he doesn't mean it to be that way.

I guess I'll break out the binder this AM, and actually FOLLOW my schedule today!

Wish me luck!

  1. Hi Julie. I appreciated your comment on my blog. I still like to use some ground flax in my bread if only for it's high fiber content. I hope you'll have a fun time at the library. It's a favorite spot of ours too. Our town has 2700 people, so there aren't a lot of places to go. Great Falls is an hour away, so we can't just jump in the car and go there any time we want. When we can though, we enjoy the fish hatchery and nearby park and fishing holes! I hope you will all have a wonderful Spring Break and Easter....Blessings from the Big Sky Country.......Denise (prairiemom)
