Accomplishments

I did have many accomplishments today to speak of.

Took Mom and got her hair done today. Amelia stayed with her at the beauty shop while Logan and I went galavanting off for a couple of hours. We ran a few errands, then went to the park in search of tadpoles! Unfortunately, we found none, which was kind of disappointing, but we had fun together. He needs to be a one on one kid sometimes, with his past (not so pleasant first 5 years NOT with us- we're his grandparents turned parents), and today was such a perfect day for it!

After Mom finished, we came home, and parked on the porch swing awhile with hubby, and Mom went through her little "spell" that she goes through every day in the afternoon, crying and intense confusion... but we made it through that successfully, and without much incident.

We had a huge thunderstrom come rumbling through, so all electrical "stuff" was turned off, like the computer and TV. The house was wonderfully quiet, except for family noises and laughter and happiness! It was GREAT!!!!

Dad and Logan played chess, Mom watched, Amelia and I worked on her Easter dress, and Abigail colored. We were all around the kitchen table enjoying being together. And as of now, Amelia's skirt is finished and the top will be finished tomorrow! YEHAA!

The storm didn't last near long enough though, and the TV got turned back on...... (I really can't stand that idiot box...)

But today was a good day. Thank You God for Your blessing.....I feel better, Mom feels better, life is good and Your grace is sufficient for me.
