April 11, 2009

Time passes more quickly with each year, it seems. Here it is almost Spring already! (I say almost because it's FREEZING out there right now!

I'm looking outside and I see bird feeders needing filled again, so my little sparrows can come and see me, and I see an almost depleted wood pile. We sure burned alot this year! I also see green grass where brown once was, and my little apple tree sprouting leaves and starts of buds (Yea!).

Good news!

I have recently gotten back in touch with a dear friend that I thought I had lost quite a few years ago. I won't lose him again.

Spring means a new beginning.

Remember that my friend.

Spring is a new beginning. Let it be one for you too.

I know that I don't have many readers, or should I say commenters.... but those of you that do read, will you take just a small minute and breathe a prayer to the Lord for my friend? There are some very trying times coming in the very near future, and choices to make that may seem overpowering and goals unattainable..... but please, if you will, just ask that the Lord send an army of angels to watch over him and to touch him? He needs God's loving hedge around him now... especially now.

Thank you and I send my blessings and deep felt gratitude to all of you....

  1. I haven't read your postings for some time so got all caught up. Hope your courses are going well. sounds like everyone in your family is doing pretty good. Your spring weather is way ahead of us. But we are getting spring. At just before 6a.m. I was outside and oh my the birds making sweet music out there before the break of dawn is just unreal. Our snow is melting! that is a big hooray and the river ice is slowly melting too so water is moving again.Canada geese are back. It is great. We so enjoy our grandchildren too! They are so much fun and such a blessing. Well have a wonderful Easter celebration and a great week to come.
