Today was a quiet one after LilBit went home. She was in rare form today. When her Mom dropped her off, and started to walk out the door, she threw her blanket to the floor, followed by her cup, and the face wrinkled up into a huge frown..... needless to say, she needed to nap pretty quick. When she woke up, it was more of the same. She pulled Aunt Amelia's hair... grabbed a handful, and yanked.  Amelia was trying to get away, and when I saw what was going on, I put a stop to it, and of course, more of the same, pouty face, then bursting into tears, and as soon as I walked out of the room, she ran and crawled up on Amelias lap. I made her put her right back in the chair I had her in... Pretty wild day for a 2 1/2year old.
Personally, I think she gets away with way too much, but I'm just Grandma.... But I know she listens to me, when she willfully disobeys others...

Hubby bought me a pretty statue of a RN for my desk today, and a beautiful necklace with a RN charm... lovely.  I am so lucky to have him! He's the best!

Talked to my 82 year old Aunt today. She's the last surviving sibling in her family, my Momma's sister. We talked about Mom, and about my cousins and my family... good stuff. I need to take a day or two and go see her soon. I've not seen her since My Daddy passed away, and I can't just let her slip away from me. She has become like a second Mom, since my own has left.  :) She's great... you'd love her!

Well, I have a l-o-n-g meeting tomorrow at work, so I had better go on to bed. Morning comes a bit too early for me!
