I have this weekend off.... yea yea yea!!!

2pm can't roll around fast enough for me!

Keep precious dh in your prayers as he has another Kentucky run tonight and the weather is calling for rain. He's an excellent driver, but that doesn't account for the others on the road with him.

I emailed the realtor about looking at the larger house today about 3:30p.

Maybe? Maybe not.

We'll see.

  1. I have been reading your blogs this morning and am praying for you and your family~~I have no idea why children get to be so unthankful and unthinking~~

Like most families we have had our share of troubles with children but not what you are going through. Our biggest struggle is patiently awaiting the day they will come to know what they have in the LORD and live for him instead of the world and themselves.

I think I see similar patterns with your stories of difficulites with your children. They may be taking it out on you but really isn't it just the world and the self-obsession that comes with it.

When one is not living with the love of Jesus in their heart they do not have that grasp on love and forgiveness~~

We broke down and had our younger five children go to school for their last couple of grades. They have all graduated now. The school years were a good experience in that they learned how others lived and made lots of very good and close friends. Also their teachers loved them and they learned things that I could not teach them. And they could still come home to us and discuss the things that were happening in their lives. That was good. Not so good was they picked up some worldly ways. In the end though I would do it all again as it was worth it. We (my husband and I) want our children to love the LORD and live for the LORD because they want to not because we want them too. If you know what I mean.

They have all got a good work ethic and good attitudes about life. Some of them have just not yet reached that point where it includes giving of themselves to GOD. All of them believe in GOD. That does not mean we think they are saved just because they believe in GOD or have made childhood decisions to ask Jesus into their hearts.

I know from experience that it is hard not to take their actions personally but hang in there girl. You are in our hearts and prayers (and your family)
