Good Tuesday morning!

I made chocolate chip/ molasses pancakes and eggs this morning for breakfast. Children are enjoying and actually getting along this morn! (Just cause of breakfast?- What a feat!)

Amelia is still not feeling too well. She ate, and actually complimented me. (That's a h-u-g-e bonus when it comes from a usually grumpy 15 year old! Haha! I had her take some Alka Selter daytime and lay down on the couch. I think I'll let her do her reading from there today. She's not been quite up to par for almost a week now. Nothing difinitive, just feeling blah....

We had an excellent time doing Science last week. Amelia did a DNA model and we extracted DNA from split peas. We had fun with that one..

Abby was reading up on alchemy and her experiment consisted of red cabbage leaves, vinegar and baking soda in a balloon. When the balloon started to go up, she got behind her Dad and said... "It's gonna blow!" Hahahaha!

Logan and I made a jello cell. A green one... but still, a cell. We plan on eating it today.

My Technical Writing class started yesterday and I did my introduction and made my homepage as requested (it's an internet class). Now I am thinking of something to write about as my first assignment which is due Thursday. I may write about container gardening or crocheting or controlling diabetes with diet and exercise.... shoot! I just don't know!

AAaarrrrggghhhhhh! Being an adult student is harder than it should be! LOL!

It's a chilly day here in Indiana, with a light covering of snow on the ground. It's definitely bundle up weather if we go to the library today (which I want to do). I have some fines to pay too, cause I'm always late. *< sigh>*

I am into the Book of Job with my daily reading from the Bible. Pretty interesting stuff to see what he went through and how his friends treated him. His wife even told him to scorn God so he could die and get it over with! Can you imagine? I hope someday that my faith is as strong as Job's and my patience even a fourth as strong.
