Today...

I'm finally able to blog!

Things have been going on well here at the house. Today promises to be a sunshiny day. Time to get some wash done and out! :)

Made a double batch of laundry soap yesterday. Didn't know I was almost out, and of course, 2 teenage daughters aren't going to tell me, are they?

We bought 3 Barred Rock hens (I hope they are hens) and have them in a wire dog kennel in my living room until they get a bit larger and we get the coop built. I'll have to get a picture of them and post...they are surely cute! And should provide enough eggs for our family.
