Mother's Day Adventure (as told in pictures)...

The river receeding... finally.

Hubby and I....the happy couple. :)

My husband... the man that makes me happy.

Brookville, Indiana

Brookville Lake
Den and I took off bright and early this morning, and headed to where ever it was we were to end up.... it was a little cool to start off with, but good. Always refreshing to be out on the bikes, together or apart...
I wasn't quite sure where this adventure was taking us, but Dennis must've known. Or at least had an idea, cause he seemed to know exactly where we were going. :) He always does though...
We ended up in a little town called Crete (or something like that) and stopped for a soda and Corn Nuts. :)
When we left there, less than 10 minutes later, we ended up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the roads began to get a little busy. I'm not used to that, but Dennis said I did fine... then we crossed over into Kentucky on 75 South. The pace was fast, not my favorite place to be, but I kept my eye on Dennis, didnt give enough room for a car to get between us, and I think flying along, bike and rider slicing through the air, became a wonderful experience in my times on my bike...the intense concentration, the realization that in one split second, anything could happen.... that I had to be hyperalert and aware.....
Exhilaration to the max!!!!
The pace slowed down after we re-entered Indiana, and were cruising along the countryside, hitting some intense twisties, finally hitting Brookville, stopping at the dam for a short walk, then up the road to Liberty, where I saw a dear friend... Hi Beth!  :)
When we got back home, we picked up Abi and hit the road for Chinese.
I wish I would have brought my camera along to get a pic of Abi wearing her Dad's big ol leather jacket, and wearing her hat backward so it wouldn't blow off...... adorable.  :)
Most of my children either called me or sent me a text for Mothers Day... and one of our daughters sent a bouquet of flowers.
Seriously fantastic day!  :)
