Our Valentines Date....

My hubby and I aren't really flowers and candy type of people, so for our Valentines "date", we went to the Columbus Easyriders Bike Show. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself. 

The paint jobs were awesome!

Abi and Dad had a Valentines Day Date.... she had to make T-shirts for the occasion. They looked adorable!  :)

Ice Yesterday and Snow Today.....

*Blech*

It has snowed all day. And there is a layer of thick ice underneath. Either way, it doesn't matter I HAVE to work tomorrow. I simply cannot slack in what needs to be done because of the weather. I am thankful that the only child I have to worry about doesn't require me to be home when school is called off.



Ice Storm!!!

For heavens sake.... much of the state is closed or is closing due to this weather.... and it is terribly icy out, but seriously?

Another affirmation hit me today with my job when the administrator told us all to stay in and stay safe today. She told us not to jeopardize ourselves for the job..... seriously? Wow.

And so... I haven't! LOL!
I have piddled around the house, we did go and have our taxes done (and whats this about H&R Block NOT giving rapid refund this year?), and tried scraping ice off our sidewalk and off our vehicles, with little success.
Not much else though.

Talked to our daughter, who lives entirely TOO far away, and we think she has the flu. :( Wish she could be here with her Mommy getting all the TLC I have.

Been talking also with our oldest boy and searching for a motorcycle on Craigslist for him. :) He has the fever too.... and we ALL have PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome).

Which brings us full circle again to the ice storm.

Snuck outside with the crazy hillbilly (who at least wore a jacket... but no shirt to start the cars and scrape ice...) and got a few pics.
