I worked the night of the 29th and was unusually cold all night long. Now, where I work, it gets to the freezing point about 2-3am, but that night, I stayed cold. Came home in the morning, still cold, and curled up in bed with 3 blankets over me. I woke up a couple of hours later, and was shaking so bad, my teeth were chattering, and I didn't feel well at all. I had a blanket wrapped around me and was in my flannel jammies....
I tried to take my temperature, but couldn't get my mouth to close around the thermometer! (I was that cold...)
So I took my axillary temp, and discovered I had a temperature of 103.6! Heaven's sake!
I took a couple of Aleve and by then, DH was home and took off to get some medicine, but not before feeding me some of the good old fashioned moonshine medicine that we have. (Granny's Secret Recipe, you know...)
I felt better by the end of the evening, and today, I have no fever, but my lower back hurts and I have a slight headache.
DH cleaned out the chimney today, and we have a nice warm fire in the stove again! Yea!
We're eating leftovers for supper, so nothing amazing is going on today 'cept laundry. And that's not very exciting... :)
Oh! I did put in a few applications the past few days, so good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, I may have a new position soon....
And thank you for the congratulations every one! I appreciate it!
