And here we are.....
4 months later..... after the last post, that is.
I have my little greenhouse, and am trying to grow herbs... going to plant more hopefully soon...
I have recently undergone weight loss surgery, which has been a learning experience to say the least. Everything feels fine, and Jim was with me the whole time, including walking every two hours in the hospital, and making sure I get all my vitamins in, and my protein... he is definitely a good man. :)
So far, I have lost 30 pounds, and feel pretty gosh darn good about myself!
Except for one day last week, I was feeling particularly good, and not paying a bit of attention to what I was to be eating or to how fast I was to be eating it, I inhaled a hard boiled egg... it went down wonderfully, so I thought... "I'll have another..."
BIG MISTAKE.
As soon as I swallowed the last bite of the second egg, I had the most intense pain in my chest that one could imagine. Like a knife right between my breasts, and stabbing and digging my heart out....
I collapsed on the bathroom floor trying to get some relief, couldn't even force myself to vomit, although I was able to get some slight relief and I did bring a bit back up.
I forced myself to go to work, feeling a bit better, but by the time I arrived, I was in full fledged panic mode and pulled in just in time to throw open my door and let it fly all over the parking lot. This same thing happened again when I reached my facility, and again inside the facility!while I was finishing up some charting I was doing... OMG ... lesson learned. THAT won't happen again... believe me!

New Life... New Happenings
Well, after much arguing and disagreements and basically just not liking each other very much... my husband and I decided to split. Well, I decided to split, and asked him to leave. He left, but everything remains here... including all of his bills...
But my brain is at peace, and so is my life. I have picked up a part time job to help offset the bills, cause my mileage for my primary job was also cut (assholes), but its alright.
Another change is that I am now allowed to seek a path I have always been curious about, but never allowed to search. I am learning about Paganism and some about the Wiccan paths. I am finding myself not necessarily doing rituals or spells, per say, but leaning more so toward the healing aspect of herbs, and how to make poultices and tinctures and the life. I am very interested in such things, and always have been, and now have the opportunity to learn. Needless to say, I am excited. :D I'm not quite sure where this path will take me, but I'm just happy that I am able to explore and decide for myself.
Hopefully, more news shall be upcoming.... Thank you all for stopping by!

I wasn't quite sure where this adventure was taking us, but Dennis must've known. Or at least had an idea, cause he seemed to know exactly where we were going. :) He always does though...
We ended up in a little town called Crete (or something like that) and stopped for a soda and Corn Nuts. :)
When we left there, less than 10 minutes later, we ended up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the roads began to get a little busy. I'm not used to that, but Dennis said I did fine... then we crossed over into Kentucky on 75 South. The pace was fast, not my favorite place to be, but I kept my eye on Dennis, didnt give enough room for a car to get between us, and I think flying along, bike and rider slicing through the air, became a wonderful experience in my times on my bike...the intense concentration, the realization that in one split second, anything could happen.... that I had to be hyperalert and aware.....
Exhilaration to the max!!!!
The pace slowed down after we re-entered Indiana, and were cruising along the countryside, hitting some intense twisties, finally hitting Brookville, stopping at the dam for a short walk, then up the road to Liberty, where I saw a dear friend... Hi Beth! :)
When we got back home, we picked up Abi and hit the road for Chinese.
I wish I would have brought my camera along to get a pic of Abi wearing her Dad's big ol leather jacket, and wearing her hat backward so it wouldn't blow off...... adorable. :)
Most of my children either called me or sent me a text for Mothers Day... and one of our daughters sent a bouquet of flowers.
Seriously fantastic day! :)
